Along the way, Karim meets well-known figures and passionate fans who introduce him to the country’s rich and distinctive cultural identity. Karim shares inspiring player quotes with the fans, leaving behind exclusive giveaways and they kicking a ball around together. The result? Local impact, a 10-day content series, stronger community connections — and plenty of smiling faces.

Through The Stars of Maghrib the Eredivisie proves what unites Morocco and the league. A huge passion for football, offering the chance to young players to show their skills and an attacking, entertaining style of play.

During this trip, the new official match ball for the next Eredivisie season is presented: the Globall. This ball symbolizes the global influence on Dutch football and pays tribute to all nationalities that have contributed to the Eredivisie’s rich history. The ball now literally rolls through the streets and over the sandy football pitches of Morocco, as a symbol of the shared passion for the game.

”This is an example of how our core values truly came to life through both the activation and content. Excellence execution played a crucial role in achieving such impressive results.”

As creative producer, I created the concept and managed execution from start to finish. The completion of a content serie wouldn’t have happened without the talents of Cas Manders and Frank van Amerongen.
